Main Ingredients
500 grams ground lamb or beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1 teaspoon RK Cumin Powder
1 teaspoon RK Arabic Masala
1 teaspoon RK Coriander Powder
1/2 teaspoon RK Paprika Powder
1/2 teaspoon RK Cinnamon Powder
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
RK Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil, for grilling
Directions
1. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cilantro, Arabic masala, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground paprika, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together. This step is optional but enhances the taste.
3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
4. Take a portion of the meat mixture and shape it into elongated or round patties, about 1 inch thick. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
5. Brush the kebabs with olive oil to prevent sticking to the grill.
6. Grill the kebabs for about 5-7 minutes per side or until they are cooked through and nicely browned.
7. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
8. Serve the Kofta Kebabs with rice, salad, pita bread, or your preferred accompaniments.
